Invite a friend, bring your mom, or make it a night out for yourself with our next PaintSocial class at SouthEnd Brewing Co.! Class will feature supplies and guided instructions needed to complete the image "Painting the Town Owl" a nod to the Great Horned Owl! Did you know that the Great Horned Owl is a beautiful creature native to the Boone region? You may not see them often, but you have likely heard them. Great Horned Owls are known for hooting ALL NIGHT LONG!

Instruction will last about 2 hours and will be led by our very own Artists in Residence: Deirdre Kevorkian and Ferrilyn Sourdiffe - you've seen their artwork around the brewery and now they're sending you home with some artwork of your own!

Tickets include one drink (16oz beer, 6oz wine, or craft cocktail) to enjoy during your class!

Meet your Instructors!

Ferrilyn Sourdiffe is a visual artist who recently relocated to Greensboro from upstate New York. She works primarily in acrylic, watercolor, ink, and collage. You've seen her work in and around Southend but fun fact: she's designed hand-hooked rugs for celebrities, presidents, musicians, and more!

Deirdre Kevorkian is one of the owners at SouthEnd Brewing and Ferrilyn's sister. Deirdre is the mastermind behind the beer signs you see behind the bar and taught art at a K-12 private school in Greensboro.
